Frequently asked Questions

1/ What are your opening hours?

We are open 7 days a week from 10 am to 5pm. We only closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. For our location please refer to the Contact link on this site.

2/ What is my product made from?

All our garden art is made from Mild Steel. We use mild steel because of its price affordability and its malleability.

3/ How do I look after my product?

All our garden art is made from Mild Steel. This steel continues to rust on the surface slowly over time. Your product will last for many years. If you wish to maintain the finish the product can be sealed with Penetrol. Penetrol is an oil based metal primer-sealer. It stops the oxygen from getting to the metal thus stops or greatly slows down the rusting process. It dries to touch and will prevent any rust staining on walls or paving. It breaks downs with UV light so needs to be reapplied about once a year, every 6 months near the ocean (salt). It is commonly available at hardware stores.

4/ Can I purchase a gift certificate?

Yes please refer to the Gift Certificates link under our Customer Service section on this site.

5/ Where do you ship your products to?

We will ship anywhere in Australia and around the world. Please refer to the Shipping link under our Customer Service section on this site.

6/ Can I paint my new artwork?

Penetrol will act as a primer for painting rusty steel, however you will need to brush any loose material off it first.  Ideally if you wish to paint it ask us ahead of time and we will supply you with the piece unrusted.

7/ is your art available elsewhere?

We sell a range of our products at selected stockists in Victoria and around Australia. These stockists can be found under stockists on the Customer Service link on the website.
